First week back from Christmas

First week back from Christmas, falling straight into pattern cutting. A nice change not to be working on a show and spending time learning a new skill. Learning to grade patterns was a serous challenge but a challenge worth taking. It was really hard to grasp all the ways we did it but made so much sense once we saw it the final way which was by cutting up the pattern. The first way keeping the pattern whole made it so hard to visualise.  This is very useful to have learned though because if I get a pattern that need to be made bigger like a vintage patterns it means I know how to do this properly so it will fit a generic size.
