Started on the bodice. Made up the basic calico bodice and then cut out the panels. I realised that a lot of the fabric is quite stretchy so I had to back some of the fabrics and stay stitched the edges to help stop the stretching. The sequinned fabric will cause some problems when sewing it to the bodice because you can't get a sharp edge because of the way the sequins lie.
Tasks started: Start to think about wings, think about tights, cutting out the bodice.
Tasks completed: Tutu/under skirt under construction, top skirt to the point of fitting.
